The home is one of the most important places to provide ABA therapy. With in-home therapy, skills are taught at home and then practiced and perfected in the community. You can expect to see your child play, work, and grow in every way. ABA focuses on teaching new skills so troublesome behaviors are no longer necessary. We also work on changing the child’s environment to foster new skills and lessen the likelihood of behavioral outbursts. The community is where skills are brought, tested, and practiced in the real world. If we worked on being flexible and accepting "no but…" at home, then we work on these goals in the community. With patience, we work our way up to the events or activities that have historically been difficult. With our support new opportunities open up for you and your family.
